Derrick Chong is a registered Real Estate Agent with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP), authorized to practice under Hamptons Real Estate. With over 8 years of experience in the real estate industry, Derrick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics with Economics from University Malaysia Sabah. Derrick’s career began in commercial banking, where he accumulated over seven years of experience in managing a significant loan portfolio totaling RM150 million. His tenure in banking exemplifies his strategic acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to financial excellence.

Transitioning to real estate in 2016, Derrick joined Hartamas Real Estate, leaving behind corporate stability to pursue a dynamic career in the industry. His success in guiding multinational clients through real estate acquisitions is marked by his support for over 100 foreign buyers, primarily from China, Hong Kong, and Korea, in securing their ideal properties in Kuala Lumpur.

Derrick’s expertise spans from estate agency, project marketing, and corporate real estate and investment, focusing on market analysis, strategic planning, transaction management, and financial structuring.
